Job Description

Perfectly Nuts is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Farmer's Market Sales Representative in the greater Vancouver region. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our candy/savory nuts and freeze-dried fruits at local farmer's markets on Saturdays and Sundays, and some weekdays.

Because this position is seasonal, it is perfect for students who are looking to earn some extra cash over the summer while enjoying the sunshine!

Responsibilities:

Set up and take down of market booth displays and products
Using your own vehicle to transport products and equipment to and from the Farmer's markets
Engage with customers to explain our products, answer questions, and make sales
Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is replenished as needed
Collaborate with management to develop sales strategies and promotions
Represent our brand in a professional manner and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors
Ensure that the market booth is clean and organized at all times

Requirements:

Must be available to work on weekdays and weekends
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred
Must be able to work independently
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment in various weather conditions
Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Compensation:

Milage paid for use of personal car
