Inside Sales Representative
Continental Sales & Marketing, a nationally recognized Manufacturer’s Representative Firm, has an opportunity for an opening on our Inside Sales Team.
We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to utilize their skills in communication and sales to highlight the advantages of a product or service. This person will be comfortable gaining new leads and converting them into ongoing customers by building lasting connections and relationships with them. This person will be expected to research your customer to make customized sales pitches and demonstrate how the consumer would benefit from purchasing their product. Once a customer is acquired, the expectation will be to maintain a strong, ongoing relationship with that customer to sell additional products to them. Additionally, this representative be answering any questions they have while using their service. As an Inside Sales Representative, this person will need to possess excellent organizational skills to manage and maintain factory partner pricing schedules based on fluctuating prices. Additionally, this position requires a sense of creativity that will enable the employee to create mass email campaigns for key factory partners, as well as track performance and create reports on such performance.
Job Duties:
- Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
- Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
- Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer
- Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership
- Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates
- Collaborate with NAM’s and Directors and create mass email campaigns
- Subsequently track performance and generate reports on mass email performance
- Answer inbound customer calls in corporate office
Skills and Qualifications:
- Communication: Both strong listening and communication skills are crucial as an Inside Sales Representative, often recognizing when to talk and when to listen. By understanding the customer's needs, the Representative will be able to overcome common objections by using their sales training.
- Mathematical: Requires proficiency to calculate percentages, sales prices and discounts quickly and accurately.
- Teamwork: Interpersonal skills are required, as the representative will have to interact with operations, marketing or other sales team members to meet sales goals.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Organization: Must be highly proficient
- Time Management: Must be highly proficient, with excellent follow-through to completion
- Travel: Willing to travel up to 15% of the time for trade shows and customer meetings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
