Position Overview
Are you a self-starter with a passion for sales and a knack for building strong connections? As a Sales Business Development Representative (BDR) at Safety Plus Inc., you’ll play a key role in driving our growth and expanding our customer base. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on making workplaces safer through innovative technology.
In this role, you will generate and qualify leads, collaborate with the sales team, and build lasting relationships with prospective clients. Your contributions will directly impact the company’s revenue and growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify, research, and prospect new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
- Qualify Leads: Assess the needs and pain points of prospects to determine potential fit with Safety Plus's solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales Account Executives: Partner closely with the sales team to transition qualified leads into meaningful sales opportunities.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions in Salesforce.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively communicate Safety Plus’s value proposition.
- Performance Tracking: Meet and exceed weekly and monthly performance metrics, including lead volume, meetings scheduled, and conversion rates.
- Customer Engagement: Build initial relationships with prospects, serving as the first point of contact and setting the stage for a positive customer journey.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2 years of sales or lead generation experience, preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM platforms like Salesforce and productivity tools such as the Microsoft Suite.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive messaging.
- Self-Motivation: Highly driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive alignment and achieve shared goals.
