he Product Marketing team at BILL is the driving force behind getting products to market and growing their impact on customers and the business. We represent the voice of the customer - before, during and after launch, articulate a product’s value in a way that resonates with customers and differentiates vis-a-vis the competition, and drive product adoption, retention, and advocacy.

This Staff level, Product Marketing Manager role will be focused on driving the growth of our business through strategic distribution and API partnerships. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be a part of building from zero to one as we shape the go to market motion around partnerships at BILL. The tools in your PMM toolbox still apply - messaging, positioning, sales enablement, customer insights and research - as you focus on fine tuning our story for an ecosystem of partners looking to grow their own business together with BILL.

Responsibilities

  • Create positioning & messaging - drive strategic positioning/messaging in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Create and execute GTM plans - orchestrate and execute product launches cross-functionally
  • Uncover market insights - lead the company through expertise on the market, segment, buyer, users, competitors, and the product
  • Influence product strategy & development - support PMs, UX, and Engineering in building the “right thing”

  • Develop and implement go-to-market (GTM) strategies, coordinating and executing product launches across multiple functions.
  • Uncover market insights - lead the company through expertise on the market, segment, buyer, users, competitors, and the product
  • Influence product strategy & development - support PMs, UX, and Eng in building the “right thing” for partners

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • Proven track record in developing and launching innovative products and features.
  • Experienced in crafting and implementing comprehensive go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in B2B SaaS and/or Payments businesses
  • Some experience with partnerships preferred although not required
  • Bachelor’s degree with 12 years minimum related professional experience; or Master’s degree with 8 years experience without experience; or PhD with 5 years

The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is noted below for our office location in San Jose, CA. This role is eligible to participate in BILL’s sales incentive and equity plans. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

San Jose pay range
$150,800—$188,200 USD
