Specialty Pharmacy Sales Consultant:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a Specialty Sales Consultant to join our team covering the Texas territory. Polaris Specialty Pharmacy is a specialty pharmacy that serves the rare disease community including gastroenterology, rheumatology, neurology, dermatology, oncology, and hematology - physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers. The focus of this territory has been in the Houston and San Antonio areas.
The Specialty Sales Representative will be expected to develop and execute a territory sales plan, develop sales targets, close sales, coordinate sales efforts with strategic manufacturing and distribution partners, support the needs of the medical practice clients, and participate in company sales planning, meetings and reporting as it relates to specialty medications and therapy management. The successful candidate will have a proven history of achieving results, building relationships, customer focus, and promoting all sales and marketing programs.
The primary responsibility of the Specialty Sales Consultant will be to develop and manage a designated regional territory with the goal of maximizing and reaching sales forecasts. Expectations for the SSC include being a self-starter, a team player, and responsible for identifying, ranking, prospecting, and developing key medical practices, hospitals, and clinics.
This position will be mostly territory-based with travel as required to meet or exceed sales goals.

- Familiar with health care providers, drugs, clinics, and hospital communities

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications for Specialty Sales Representative:
- 2+ years of experience in outside sales
- Proven track record of sales success
- Proficient use of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Healthcare Sales (Preferred)
- Specialty Pharmacy Sales Experience is encouraged for this position.
