Rate of Pay: Base Pay of $50,000 plus uncapped commission (on-track earning could put you over $100k/year)

Bonus: Quarterly Bonus Program

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Home office will be Scarborough at 1050 McNicoll Avenue. Sales Region is Scarborough, Markham, Vaughan, North Etobicoke, Concord and Woodbridge.

You will also have an eye for small details and the ability to identify opportunities for additional services.

The success of this position will be achieved through your ability to stay on task, self-start and utilize the channels that JAN-PRO has to offer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for a range of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Reach out to potential clients to present our products and service offerings
  • New Business Development: Responsible for pursuing and securing new business opportunities
  • Self-generate appointments to leverage growth via Networking, Emails, Cold Calling, Door Knocking (Boots on the Ground)
  • Documenting and tracking key potential clients contacted while developing a communication cycle to promote constant contact and promotion of services.
  • Daily use of CRM system (ACT!) updating and adding detailed customer information.
  • Display a professional manner while representing the company
  • Drive growth by selling services to prospects in all industries
  • Directly communicating and meeting with potential customers to schedule sales presentations while tapping into your creativity in face-to-face client meetings
  • Site visits with potential customers to gather all key information while learning about their organization
  • Mixture of working from home and office when necessary to discuss and create new customer proposals
  • New Contract Negotiations: Responsible for creating, reviewing, and presenting proposals in a professional manner to potential customers for approval
  • Provides regular updates and information relating to weekly activities and sales status to Regional Director
  • Weekly collaboration with Data Marketing Specialist and Regional Director to achieve monthly target for Account Sales·

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma OR College Diploma (Business Experience preferred)
  • 2 years of previous experience in Sales (Inside and Outside)
  • Experience with Business Development (commercial janitorial experience considered an asset)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated use and knowledge of social media to accent a creative approach to winning customers
  • · Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills with a tremendous focus on details
  • Understanding margins, pricing, and costing
  • Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized, focused, and comfortable making direct communication with prospective customers
  • Versatile, flexible and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed with unparalleled enthusiasm
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills with a focus on customer service and the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to work independently, in a team, and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with all departments within the organization
  • Knowledge of CRM and ability to document detailed and accurate prospect and client information in an electronic database
  • Excellent organization & time management

MUST HAVE:

  • Valid Class G Drivers license and your own vehicle available to you daily Mon-Fri
  • Experience with CRM Systems (ACT! is an asset)
  • Superior communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently
  • Comfortable ‘knocking doors’ and cold-calling potential customers within your area
