Job Description


POSITION SUMMARY
:

The Hybrid Sales Representative (HSR) has dual responsibility of the role of an Associate Sales Representative (ASR) and Sales Representative (SR). When acting as ASR to one or more SRs in neighboring territories, the HSR will provide support to enable the SR to achieve quota. When acting as SR in their own micro-territory, the HSR will be responsible for achieving quota for a designated area on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The SR will be a subject matter expert for Treace Medical products and procedures, instilling confidence in the surgeon and OR support team by their deep understanding of, and proper use of, our products in a variety of patient and clinical scenarios. Amount of time spent in each role will depend on territory but will be defined before hire.


ASR PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new customers via prospecting and following up on Company generated leads.
  • Plan, coordinate and executes product training for surgeons (didactic and cadaveric).
  • Attends surgery with surgeon users; provide technical guidance on proper clinical use and technique for best possible outcome and an excellent customer experience. Completes case review summaries after every case.
  • Develops positive, enduring relationships with our customers.
  • Attend local, regional, and national trade shows and labs as requested.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with all key account personnel within their assigned areas to support selling, market development, service efforts, clinical events, and business continuity.
  • Updates management and marketing on industry trends, product advancements, & customer needs.
  • Provides feedback to marketing on product design to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage customers in the Company’s Physician Outreach Program.
  • Ensure high level of integrity and compliance, including all TMC policies and AdvaMed Code of Ethics.
  • Uphold all TMC Core Values and Beliefs.
  • Ensure instrumentation for surgery is coordinated, delivered, and sterilized prior to cases and that inventory is properly stocked and maintained
  • Complete company provided training, stay current on industry trends, and successfully master all TMC products and procedures.

SR PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SR responsibilities include all ASR duties outlined above, in addition to:

  • Ensures proper selection and qualification of all trainees.
  • Assists with surgical protocols, techniques, tips & tricks.
  • Works to obtain product approvals of local and regional ASCs, hospitals and IDNs.
  • Collaborates with sales management on forecast.
  • Continually attends TMC product training, staying current as a technical product expert.
  • Prepares detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems, status of accounts and leads to DSM.
  • Collect purchase orders from customers.
  • Achieves sales goals and metrics, including quota, budget, and revenue.

Qualifications


What you will bring to the role:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required and three (3) years of successful field sales experience.
  • Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree required and minimum of one (1) years successful field sales experience
  • Ability to travel locally up to 90% of the time and overnight travel up to 20% of the time
