We are a multi-service company that handles pumping and disposal of grease trap waste and recycling of used cooking coils for commercial and industrial facilities throughout the Midwest and the surrounding states.


Brooks Grease Service is hiring a Outside Sales Representative! We are looking for someone who is driven, willing to travel and put in some hard (and rewarding) work, learn a ton and is excitedfor an opportunity to work within a fantastic, quickly growing company in an innovative space. The ideal candidate will also have experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for cold calling, prospecting, lead generation, and onsite meetings face-to-face meetings with potential or existing customers in an assigned territory. You will be in the field most of the time. This is a remote position reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager.


Position Responsibilities

  • Presenting sales proposals to potential customers within the hospitality, industrial and select commercial industries
  • Evaluating customer needs
  • Selling company products and services
  • Educating customers on products and services
  • Developing effective sales strategy
  • Identifying opportunities to improve sales performance
  • Monitoring competitor activities
  • Maintaining good relationships with customers
  • Conducting market and industry research
  • Negotiating with existing and potential customers
  • Maintaining records of sales leads through Google Docs
  • Resolving customer complaints
  • 60% travel within a specific geographic territory

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of successful sales experience managing a territory preferably in a business-to-business environment
  • Success in developing new business relationships and managing existing client base
  • Experience in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Bachelor's degree desired, but not required
