Territory Sales Manager

Full-time | Sales | Location – Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule and conduct customer contacts through in-person visits and telephone calls, following management objectives.

  • Utilize expertise in sales processes for the material handling or industrial parts industries to identify customer needs and present relevant products and services.

  • Prepare and deliver sales analysis reports and presentations to staff and management as needed.

  • Navigate and research information within company ERP and CRM systems to check product pricing and availability, and manage customer feedback and action items.

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key personnel within the assigned geographical territory.

  • Upload necessary data into company systems as required.

HOW TO SUCCEED

We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in territory sales or related sales positions is required.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing is preferred.

  • Should have a strong understanding of the material handling and/ or industrial parts industry, including familiarity with small earth moving parts, customers, suppliers, and vendors.

  • Must be able to travel for business up to 70-75% of the time.

  • Must demonstrate effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite (Mail, Calendar, Hangouts, Sheets, Drive).
