Job Summary:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a crucial role in driving growth and expanding our client base. You’ll be the bridge between our Marketing and Sales teams, identifying and nurturing potential business opportunities. Your focus will be on building strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting our services effectively. Responsibilities:
Lead Qualification:
- Qualify leads generated from marketing campaigns as potential sales opportunities.
- Use your expertise to identify promising prospects.
Outreach:
- Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls, postal mail and emails.
- Present our company’s value proposition and services.
Needs Assessment:
- Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate IT solutions.
- Customize product offerings to enhance customer satisfaction.
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients from initial contact to deal closure.
- Provide excellent after-sales service.
Business Development:
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives.
Reporting:
- Regularly report sales results to the Business Development Manager.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role (minimum 3 years).
- Track record of achieving sales quotas.
Sales Skills:
- Hands-on experience with various sales techniques, including cold calls.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Proficiency in analyzing spreadsheets and charts using MS Excel.
Communication:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and/or Software as a Service (SaaS).
