Job Description
Blazerjobs is seeking a dedicated SLPto join a school district in Sandy, OR, for the upcoming school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with students from kindergarten to 12th grade, providing speech and language services to support their communication needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders and delays in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals and needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic success and overall development.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to maximize outcomes.
- Provide supervision and guidance to SLPAs as needed.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Oregon.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
