We’re looking for a Sales Manager to lead a team and help us hit our goals. You’ll cultivate and motivate your team, identify targets and goals, and evaluate sales performance to ensure our success. The ideal candidate is a natural leader, a team player, and loves taking on new challenges.
Compensation:$150,000+ at plan yearly
Responsibilities:- Outline our sales strategies and objectives to ensure we make our sales goals
- Continue company growth by identifying new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs
- Ensure our sales staff achieves their goals by making sales plans for each sales representative, setting individual sales targets, assigning territories, and managing their ongoing training programs
- Evaluate the team’s sales performance and offer advice on continuous improvement
- As a candidate for the Fast Track Management Program, you’ll join New York Life as a financial professional to gain hands-on experience. Once you have met the program requirements, which typically take between 6-12 months, you’ll be eligible for promotion to Associate Partner
- In this management role, you’ll begin recruiting and developing your own team of financial professionals. You’ll also be enrolled in the Associate Partner Training Program, a six-month intensive training designed to help ensure that you succeed when promoted to Partner
- You’ll build and lead your own team with the support of a Fortune 100 company. Our development managers and product consultants will support you in reaching your financial professionals with everything they need to know. NYLIC University, one of the most comprehensive and well-respected training programs in the industry, offers a blended learning curriculum designed to meet financial professionals’ needs throughout the various stages of their careers
- 3-5 years of experience in sales management as a sales executive or in a leadership role in the sales department
- Proven track record of sales success
- Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major
For our 6-12 month Management Fast Track Program, we’re looking for goal-driven leaders who are eager to build and develop their own unit of financial professionals. - You may qualify for the program if you have completed your MBA, have management experience, over 3 years of sales experience, or have owned a business
