Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an organized, energetic, and results-driven regional business development manager to join our team. In this role you will oversee all business development in Florida, Alabama, Georgio, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana and work to grow your customer base through the Artcobell dealer network. Candidate must excel in initiating and developing relationships with key influencers and decision makers in the furniture selection process. This individual is required to be based out of Florida.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepare annual business plan, including identification of key influencers within the Artcobell dealer network such as, target clients aligned with each firm, prioritization of target accounts, strategies to develop each account and working collaboratively to increase market share.
  • Initiate contact and develop working relationships with key A&D firms involved with school facilities.
  • Identify and effectively pursue direct contact with school district officials with future projects requiring furniture.
  • Develop and maintain thorough understanding of Artcobell product lines, as well as competitive products to ensure most up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Actively schedule and conduct new product and program presentations to dealer sales representatives and provide other business development assistance as needed.
  • Strategically position Artcobell value proposition relative to competitors to potential clients to educate customers on benefits and value of using Artcobell.
  • Accomplish business development and other Artcobell objectives by completing related results as assigned.

Experience Required:

· Five years business development experience within a manufacturing industry. School furniture experience a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Lead people and get results through others.
  • Organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Conduct problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Basic understanding and use of CRM tools such as Hubspot.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Commitment to company values.

Qualifications/Education Required:

· Bachelor's degree preferred.

Travel Requirements:

  • Approximately 50% travel required within territory and national shows.
