POSITION SUMMARY
As the Business Development Representative for the Joseph Luke Munguia Agency, you will play a pivotal role in driving attention and activity to our agency as our communities trusted and reliable insurance advising team. This position has a strong emphasis on outbound activity and prospecting to generate appointments for our sales team via outbound cold and warm calling, prospecting via social media, and supporting in networking initiatives.

OBJECTIVES
· Lead Generation: Prospect internet leads, cold call lists, and engage with warm leads to schedule appointments for our licensed agents.
· Appointment Setting: Qualify prospects and schedule meetings with our sales agents, ensuring a smooth handoff for the sales process.
· Client Onboarding Support: Assist in the initial onboarding process for new clients, including gathering basic information and scheduling follow-up meetings
· Social Media Outreach: Actively participate in social media groups, engage with potential clients, and conduct direct outreach to generate interest and set appointments.
· Client Onboarding Support: Assist in the initial onboarding process for new clients, insuring new clients feel welcomed, informed, and familiar with our agency.
· Database Management: Maintain accurate records of lead interactions, follow-ups, and appointment scheduling in our CRM system.
· Follow-Up Communication: Conduct follow-up calls and emails to nurture leads and maintain engagement.
COMPETENCIES
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to make outbound calls and engage with clients.
- Highly Organized with excellent time management skills
- Strong ability to take initiative and be resourceful when generating leads
- Ability to work part of a team and proven ability to be accountable and responsible to expectations
- Intermediate experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
- Experience with CRM systems is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years in a professional setting, preferrable in sales
- Experience handling small business prospecting and social media engagement
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- This position will require travel - up to 15%
