Wiz-Tec is a Canadian software company specializing in electronic business solutions, Point-Of-Sale (POS), and integrated systems for small, medium, and enterprise needs. We are a prominent name in gas retail Point-of-Sale and the largest provider for first nations tax exemption solutions, with over 3500 installations across Canada and multiple government contracts. Wiz-Tec's strength relies on providing powerful and highly reliable solutions and maintaining long lasting relationships with our customers.
The marketing coordinator is responsible for supporting our sales team and implementing our advertising and communications strategies. They will work works cross-functionally with all departments to maintain and develop Wiz-Tec’s growth.
Responsibilities
Sales Enablement (50%)
- Create relevant 1-pagers, case studies, sales enablement resources, e-books, blog content, webinars, and product videos)
- Create materials to support the customer journey through the sales funnel and support a strong sales enablement strategy
- Preparing presentations, proposals, RFP responses, and other projects as assigned
- Plan and execute trade show appearances and activities
- Maintaining the Wiz-Tec referral program
Digital Marketing (30%)
- Implementing marketing initiatives to help drive awareness of the brand as well as maintaining our presence in the industry
- Create, optimize, and monitor paid media content (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads)
- Analyze and measure effectiveness of campaigns using data analytics tools such as Google Analytics and SEMRush
- Use analytics to optimize website performance and search engine rankings
Research (20%)
- Conduct market research into customer segments and demographics to tailor sales and marketing strategies and determine KPIs
- Investigate trends to determine product development viability in new markets
- Survey current customers to determine net promoter scores and customer satisfactions scores
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
- Experience maintaining and optimizing Wordpress websites
- SEO and website optimization skills
- Strong writing and content creation skills with the ability to quickly write, edit, and publish accurate and relevant content
- Ability to work collaboratively or independently
- Point of sale and/or gas retail/car wash experience is an asset
- Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset
