Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients in markets outside of Canada, driving sales growth, and representing our brand in the field. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a keen understanding of international market trends, and a passion for medical device sales.
Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
- Identify and target potential distributors through market analysis and research.
- Conduct sales activities, including occasional visits to international clients, conducting virtual product demonstrations, representing the company at international tradeshows, etc.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue.
- Manage existing dealer network to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and report on performance metrics.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and enhance brand visibility.
- Travel as required to international markets including Asia, Australia, USA, Europe, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in international sales, preferably in the IVD medical device industry.
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Experience in account management with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset.
- Valid Canadian passport and willingness to travel internationally as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
