Vice President Sales
Laura Secord, Canada's first chocolatier, is seeking a Vice President of Sales for the
FDM (Food, Drug, Mass) sector.
Summary of the role
Reporting directly to the President, VP Sales Laura Secord (FDM) represents the
organization to Laura Secord's customers and develops strong relationships with new
clients of the organization in addition to ensuring good relations with existing customers
in order to increase our market share. The position holder works with the broker to
ensure good sales development. His main mandate is to interact regularly with
important clients working in the industry and with influential leaders, to develop new
markets in order to increase the organization's client portfolio and thus obtain solid sales
growth.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Defining, developing, and efficiently managing partnerships with external
representatives, brokers, distributors and clients.
- Proposing and implementing partnerships to increase our market share
and offer quality products at competitive prices.
- Developing and implementing FDM sales strategies to ensure sales
growth.
- Managing and negotiating FDM key accounts and Distributors
agreements
- Conducting quarterly business reviews with brokers.
- Developing and implementing strategies and initiatives to achieve cost
savings.
- Developing the growth strategy and defining its guidelines.
- Implementing strategies to increase sales and the organization's
performance.
- Managing FDM contracts with brokers, distributors, and partners (Majors
accounts and other division accounts).
- Analyzing the market, trends, and competition.
- Seize development opportunities with a view to sales growth
- Ensure good communication and interdepartmental collaboration in order
to achieve objectives
- Performing any other related tasks associated with sales management
and business development.
Experience, Education, and Desired Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management.
- Experience in FDM (Food, Drug, Mass) sectors or Food Industry.
- A results-oriented leader with teamwork skills, a strong sense of
responsibility, and a motivation to contribute to the company’s growth.
- Good knowledge of the English language (both talking and writing)
- Good communication skills
Workplace
The person taking over this role can be based in Quebec, Montreal or Toronto.
