Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Deanan Gourmet Popcorn. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining our wholesale and fundraising business, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication, meetings, presentations, and networking events.

· Organize, staff, and work trade shows and wholesale shows throughout the year with some overnight travel. The majority of shows are in January, February, June, and July.

· Grow our online selling platforms such as Faire and Amazon. Work with COO to discuss and develop new products for both wholesale and fundraising businesses.

· Develop new opportunities for co-packing popcorn for other brands.

· Create and post Social Media content for Facebook and Instagram to drive interest in our products.

· Collaborate with 3rd party videographer to create targeted videos that will be used to drive Facebook leads and provide content for website.

· Work with potential new customers to answer questions and determine possible solutions.

· Develop and grow our private label business.

· Coordinate with IT to update website with current and new products.

· Work closely with executive management to develop new products, design new packaging, and develop materials used for selling.

· Negotiate and close business deals, contracts, and agreements to meet revenue targets.

· Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market developments to inform business strategy.

· Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to executive leadership.

· Demonstrate proficiency in efficiently managing and promptly responding to high volumes of email, handling and organizing up to 50 emails per day effectively.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree

· Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related field

· Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and techniques

· Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, and problem solving skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Facebook/Instagram, Customer and Order processing systems

· Preferred but not required: Experience with NetSuite (business management software) and Shopify (e-commerce platform)

Pay: $76,000.00 per year
