Founded in 2000, MetaComet has grown to over 180 customers including publishers, video game companies, online learning organizations, life science companies, and more. Position Overview: The Inside Sales Representative must have a demonstrated history of following a sales process, working in a high-volume sales environment, and closing complex deals. The ideal candidate will have a few years of sales administration experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a willingness to learn and be coached.

Status: 40 hours/week; Full-Time, in-person. 1-2 days hybrid remote a possibility for well-qualified candidates.
Location: South Hadley, MA on the Mount Holyoke College Campus. This is NOT a remote position but does offer some flexibility.
Salary: $55,000-$65,00 yearly + health and dental benefits + up to 4% matching for 401k retirement plan + three (3) weeks’ PTO. We offer a performance bonus, too.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years strategic sales or business experience
- Experience managing and solely hosting presentations over Teams and similar technologies
- Adept at learning software
- Extremely comfortable juggling multiple projects/tasks at once in a technological/software-based company.
- Excellent, verifiable references, preferably from prior supervisors.

Job Details:
The purpose of this job is to manage MetaComet’s sales pipeline.
Regular tasks will include:
- Monitoring and responding to incoming leads
- Qualifying incoming leads
- Using CRM to manage all aspects of the pipeline
- Handling discovery calls and managing follow up
- Scheduling demos and other meetings
- Conducting Teams meetings (with camera on) and phone calls with prospects
- Travel 5-6 times per year expected, including to EU and UK
- Preparing sales presentations
- Preparing order forms
- Processing closed deals and transitioning relationship to implementation team
- Preparing weekly sales reports for executives
- Performing introductions at new client kickoff meetings
Additional tasks may include:
- Assistance with miscellaneous admin and marketing tasks
- Performing sales presentations and product demos
- Cold outreach
- Assist with office tasks and responsibilities when team members are out of the office to maintain continuity in day-to-day functions
The goal of this role is to assist with closing 4-6 deals per month following a typical 60-day sales cycle. This role will report to the CEO.
