Job Description
As a Corporate Account Executive, you are customer focused, driven, strategic thinker with a high capacity for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring the successful delivery of DNOW’s product and service offerings. This role is pivotal in driving customer satisfaction and achieving revenue growth and profitability for DNOW.
What you will bring:
- Business, Engineering background, or equivalent industry experience is an asset.
- 5+ years of experience in sales role in an energy services organization is desired, preferably with a focus on corporate accounts is desirable.
- Proven track record of margin and revenue growth, along with an extensive network of industry client contacts.
- Demonstrated capability and enthusiasm for collaborating with a diverse range of employees and business areas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude, along with a willingness to learn, is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with sales and customer reporting.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
What you will do:
- Identify opportunities to increase profitability and revenue within the upstream, midstream, EPCM (Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management), and downstream customer base. Achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and present informative customer presentations aimed at enhancing brand awareness of DNOW and educating clients about our products and services.
- Effectively convey ideas and actively engage in listening to foster relationships and better understand client needs. Demonstrates comfort in addressing challenging questions and possesses strong problem-solving skills.
- Stay informed and provide market and client intelligence and feedback. Use this knowledge to provide strategic advice to lead to new and clearly defined opportunities.
- Maintain and expand existing customer relationships that will result in ongoing, repeat and single-sourced business.
- Act as the main liaison between clients and internal teams and address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Create and implement strategic account plans to meet and exceed client expectations and business objectives.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
