Sales Representative Job Summary

Iron Tree Service is Massachusetts's fastest-growing professional tree service company, with a reputation built on service excellence, safety first, and environmental responsibility. Our team of highly trained arborists and crews take pride in our commitment to 100% customer satisfaction. We are looking to grow our team by adding a Territory Sales Representative.

About You

Our ideal candidate must be relationship-driven, highly self-motivated, extremely organized, team-oriented, possess outstanding communication skills, and know how to close business.

To join Iron Tree Service, a proven business-to-consumer service-related field sales track record is required. In this role, you will team up with a tree care professional who can offer in-depth tree knowledge and sales support to enable you to educate clients about why Iron Tree Service delivers outstanding tree removal and tree trimming services for their needs. Most importantly, you must have a passion for sales and being part of a team while delivering on measurable goals.

Territory

  • You will be assigned a defined sales territory in Massachusetts
  • Ideally, candidates will live in or near the territory and be familiar with the local businesses and residential streets.

Responsibilities

  • Be tenacious. Conduct follow-up calls and emails with qualified prospects until estimates are accepted and tree work is ultimately scheduled and closed.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas
  • Create a sales territory plan focused on customer growth, retention, partner referrals, and revenue generation.
  • Effectively utilize our deal tracking system and follow deal status reporting processes
  • Develop relationships with other industry professionals in your territory, such as landscapers, designers, architects, builders, golf course turf managers, and commercial property managers
  • Represent the Iron Tree Service brand according to brand standards and policy, focusing on building the “100% customer satisfaction experience”
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams (operations, crews, support) to ensure alignment in meeting client needs

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales track record of closing business in the assigned territory
  • Must have a customer-first attitude and excellent communication and relationship skills
  • Team player with the desire to work in a rapid-growth, entrepreneurial environment
  • Valid drivers license (Class A or B a plus)

Work Schedule

  • Schedule: We are a 24-hour business. Typically hours will be business hours Monday to Friday, but after-hours sales calls during storms and some Saturdays during busy periods may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • This role has a base salary. We compensate commissions at above-average rates for the industry and there is no cap on commissions earned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
