Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and shippers to secure freight for transportation
- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure competitive pricing
- Coordinate the movement of freight from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery
- Monitor shipments and provide updates to customers on the status of their freight
- Utilize transportation management software to track and manage shipments
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations for transporting perishable goods
- Generate leads and identify new business opportunities in the freight industry
- Collaborate with sales and account management teams to meet customer needs

Nature of Position:
Sales representatives are responsible for communicating the benefits of the company's products in order to drive sales. Sales reps serve as the first point of contact for new and potential clients, while having a range of responsibilities that revolve around generating revenue for the company.
Core Responsibilities:
· Present, promote and sell our service using by showing potential clients the features and benefits of using our service
· Collaborate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs.
· Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationship
· Contact potential client leads through methods not limited to cold calling, emailing and Social Media.
· Expedite the resolution of client issues and complaints to maintain satisfaction by being the main point of contact
· Booking orders with carriers
· Providing customers with shipping quotes
· Assisting in preparing carriers for loads
· Build and maintain positive business relationships to grow client accounts and gain new referral business
· Travel to industry conferences to meet with new and prospective clients/leads
· Coordinate new ideas to help support sales campaigns
· Full sales cycle process from prospecting to presenting, to objection handling, closing and nurturing
· Significant amount of outbound outreach to new and current clients to increase qualified leads. 100 outbound calls minimum required per day.
· Own book of business
What you will need:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent minimum; College degree a plus
· Proven sales experience. SAAS, Service, or non-tangible sales a plus, Full Sales Cycle Experience ++
· Good time management skills to ensure responsibilities and communication are completed in an efficient manner
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM and computer literacy
· Valid Drivers license and vehicle for regional travel
