As part of our team, you’ll play a critical role in expanding our advertiser base by showcasing an innovative opportunity: enabling brands to sponsor health and wellness in supermarkets, drugstores, malls, gyms, and airports nationwide. Advertisers will also enjoy prime visibility with jumbo wellness billboards strategically placed at the front doors and pharmacy wait areas of America’s top retailers, including CVS, Kroger, and Albertsons.

Job Summary:
As a National Business Development Representative at Terraboost, our mission is to identify and engage potential advertisers, leveraging personalized outreach to create meaningful connections. Through highly tailored emails (50-100 per day), strategic follow-ups, social media engagement and phone outreach, you’ll qualify leads and generate opportunities for our sales team to close.
Competitive Salary of $65,000-$80,000 plus generous performance bonuses can easily bring your total compensation to as much as $150,000 annually! This is a position in our Naperville, IL office.

What You’ll Do:
Prospect & Outreach:
Research and identify potential advertising clients, tailoring outreach to align with their unique goals and values.
Conduct outreach via email, social media, and CRM tools, focusing on personalized messaging to spark interest in Terraboost’s wellness billboard advertising solutions.
Lead Qualification:
Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring a strong understanding of their advertising needs and how our offerings can support their goals.
Strategic Follow-Up:
Use your phone and email skills to engage prospects and ensure they move through the sales pipeline effectively.
Customized Messaging:
Write creative and engaging emails (50-100 per day) that feel personalized and resonate with prospects.
Leverage data insights to craft impactful messages that address specific client challenges.
Appointment Setting:
Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives, ensuring seamless handoffs and preparing the sales team for success.
Pipeline Management:
Maintain detailed and accurate records of leads, activities, and progress within the CRM to ensure a consistent flow of opportunities.
Career Advancement:
Master the BDR role with the goal of transitioning into an Account Executive position after 9-18 months, where you’ll take full ownership of closing deals.
Collaborative Strategy:
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies, improve messaging, and align efforts with broader campaigns.
Professional Growth:
Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and industry research to continually refine your skills and stay ahead of trends in retail media and advertising.

Comfortable with the Phone: While email is primary, you’re not afraid to pick up the phone to follow up and build connections.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred).
1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role with a minimum of 1 year of SaaS experience SaaS experience required. Previous Advertising experience a plus.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), digital outreach methods, and social media platforms. Experience with analytics tools is a plus.
A positive, growth-oriented attitude and a passion for connecting with people.
