General Purpose:

The White Tower Material Handler manages and transports materials within the production area to ensure the efficient and timely flow of materials required for production processes. This role involves handling raw materials and finished products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Job Summary:

The White Tower Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials, components, and finished products throughout the White Tower production area. This role ensures the timely and accurate delivery of materials to support continuous production flow, maintains inventory accuracy, organizes storage areas, and ensures compliance with safety protocols. The Material Handler is critical in maintaining production efficiency and minimizing downtime by ensuring the right materials are available when needed.

Responsibilities:

◆ Load, unload, and transport materials, parts, and finished products between production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

◆ Properly store and organize materials in designated areas to maximize space and efficiency.

◆ Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products, ensuring adequate supply for production.

◆ Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.

◆ Report material shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies to the Production Supervisor or inventory control team.

◆ Maintain accurate records of material movements, deliveries, and receipts using inventory management software or manual logs.

◆ Follow all safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment when handling materials or operating machinery.

◆ Work closely with production supervisors, team leaders, and other departments to ensure materials are delivered on time and production schedules are met.

◆ Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate material movements and prioritize tasks based on production needs.

Education, Training, and Skills Required:

◆ High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in painting processes or materials handling preferred.

◆ Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in material handling or painting processes, is advantageous.

◆ Familiarity with painting techniques, tools, and equipment such as spray guns, paint mixers, and drying ovens.

◆ Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.

◆ Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.

◆ Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

◆ Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
