Job Description
Job Purpose:
To play a critical role within the Majestic Industries organization and is responsible for working with the Company business unit to ensure strategic and profitable growth in new markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops new business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities
- Initiate and manage lead generation and prospecting efforts utilizing digital tools and tactics, while tracking effectiveness and engagement
- Meet established budgetary growth targets as defined annually by the business
- Serve as a cross functional liaison between customers and the Majestic Ind. business units to facilitate productive communications, planning and interactions; and resolutions for technical, commercial, quality and/or delivery issues
- Ensure and aid the finance team in the pursuit of improved receivable collections and all open commercial issues
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Prioritize frequent face to face meeting with new and existing customers
- Adjusts content of sales presentations based on customer needs
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
- Ability to generate accurate bookings and revenue forecasts, as well as effective sales status reports
- Travel within North America and potentially internationally
· Experience
- 10+ years in a Business Development role (automotive stamping, tool and die experience a plus)·
- Managed opportunity pipeline via a CRM. ·
- Excellent organizational & time management skills·
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills·
- Self-Motivated
- Works well in a team environment
