We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will proactively sell Histology Instruments and Consumables in an assigned region. Your goal is to exceed assigned sales targets, convert marketing leads, and drive customer satisfaction by developing meaningful relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions.
You will be a part of the Commercial Organization and report to the Inside Sales Manager responsible for leading a team of Inside Sales Representatives to exceed Leica Biosystems sales goals and deliver on commercial strategies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- The Inside Sales Representative will achieve annual sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team within their territory.
- The Inside Sales Representative will maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC.
- The associate will achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering sales and support assistance and coordinating demos with the field if the need arises.
- Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories.
- Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies. Other projects, and initiatives as assigned.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- BA or BS Degree -OR- Equivalent work experience
- Minimum 1+ years of relevant sales experience OR equivalent customer facing experience.
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and planning skills.
- Must be comfortable communicating cross-functionally with leadership and management.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Travel Requirements:
- Travel: Up to 20%
