We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics and Operations Assistant with exceptional organizational skills to support the sales operations and logistics teams. This role is crucial to the success of the organization and requires extreme attention to detail with great communication skills to handle interdepartmental correspondence. The ideal candidate will be thorough in following guidelines and proactive at managing the fulfillment and shipping of inventory for our B2B and B2C clientele. This role will work in close collaboration with account managers and warehouse teams from various 3PLs.


What you’ll do:


  • Communicate with the warehouse team to achieve a smooth fulfillment process.
  • Input customer information and upload documents into the ERP system.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships through collaboration and consistent timely communication.
  • Ensure all warehouses are compliant with the requirements from each customer.
  • Coordinate transportation and book shipments with freight brokers, carriers, and warehouses, ensuring proper documentation is provided.
  • Track orders to ensure timely deliveries and to solve arising problems.
  • Prepare documents for products that will go through customs and ensure all requirements are met.
  • Abide by strict customer guidelines for approving carriers and utilizing the corresponding shipping accounts.
  • Assist with cargo tracking and update of records in the ERP system.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics & Transportation, or a combination of education and 1+ years logistics operations experience.
  • Computer competency (Microsoft Office Suite, email, PDFs) and data entry skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is a must.
  • Client focused solutions (NetSuite, EDI) is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and work independently.
  • Familiarity with order processing and logistics (parcel, freight, BOL, ASN)
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
