As a New Accounts Sales Representative at Turn 14 Distribution, you will be on the front line of driving new revenue growth within our Powersports segment. This position involves managing and qualifying inbound leads, generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, guiding customers through the onboarding process, and being a knowledgeable resource on all aspects of Turn 14 Distribution. You will actively contribute to the company’s agenda, meet sales targets, and stay informed about industry trends. This role is ideal for a sales professional who is persistent, assertive, independent, innovative, possesses strong decision-making skills, and has an outgoing personality.
This is an in-office role in our Royal Oak, Michigan Office.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Communication:
- Be available during business hours to handle customer communication via phone, email, or text message, providing prompt and professional responses to increase sales.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key staff of new accounts to earn trust and business.
- Act as a trusted liaison between customers and various departments within Turn 14 Distribution.
- Establish and build relationships with vendors to encourage lead generation
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of all aspects of Turn 14 Distribution, including web tools, processes, how we do business and competitive advantages.
- Offer comprehensive guidance and information to customers on both our processes and products.
- Collaborate on company initiatives to achieve New Brand Launch Goals, as well as other assigned projects.
- Actively participate in the company’s growth and success by unlocking new business opportunities in targeted markets.
- Attend and actively engage in new product training provided by company vendors.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest product offerings and industry developments.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of all Turn 14 Distribution brands within your assigned
- Provide customers with in-depth information about product lines.
- Drive to meet or exceed assigned lead generation, revenue, and margin targets and quotas
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales.
- Continuously research and analyze competitors to understand their strengths and weaknesses, using this knowledge to position Turn 14 Distribution effectively.
- Attend weekly sales meetings, actively contribute to new strategies, and discuss current challenges.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the sales strategy.
- Travel: Travel 1-2 times yearly to attend tradeshows and events relevant to the market segment.
