The Ria Digital Partnerships team empowers our partners to offer international remittance solutions to their customers within their own digital experiences.
Seeking a business development professional with strong B2B relationship building savvy and experience selling complex, long-cycle deals across key market segments. With initial focus on small FIs (credit unions, community banks) as well as the platforms that enable these FIs, you may also develop opportunities in fintechs, non-financial brands, or other verticals where we identify a fit.
Working within the Digital Partnerships' Business Development team to develop and nurture a pipeline of qualified partnership prospects, you will be a key contributor to our sales strategy and execution.
- Conduct inbound and outbound activities (calls, emails, networking) to generate and qualify leads and convert them into sales opportunities
- Host initial fact-finding calls with prospects to understand fit with Ria's money transfer offering
- Obtain detailed understanding of prospect client’s existing business and qualify it as a strong fit for our partner solutions
- Listen to prospect needs and gain a detailed understanding of how remittances may fit their business strategy
- Maintain updated CRM and sales pipeline
- Articulate and explain Ria partnership value proposition through FABs (features, advantages and benefits) to decision-makers at prospect companies
- Stay up to date on embedded finance and remittance market trends
- Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred. Ideally located in Denver or another a major city in the US.
- Minimum of 7 years of sales/business development experience in banking/fintech/platform companies in the US.
- Understanding of the software and fintech landscape including partner integration models (hosted/embedded/APIs)
- Excellent communication skills are required; communicates and influences strategically and effectively
- Results-driven mindset: delivers new, high-potential partnerships
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail to track initiatives, projects, and deliverables
- Ethics and integrity; always operates with commitment to organizational vision, values, and goals
- Self-started that aims for continuous improvement
- Act as the champion for the partner internally and develop strong relationships with key internal colleagues to ensure a proactive approach to closing deals
- Analytical Thinking – Uses different techniques to identify possible solutions and plan next steps
