Guardian Systems is currently seeking an enthusiastic Commercial Security Sales Representative to focus on growing our brand and provide stellar customer satisfaction. Our customers get innovative and state-of-the-art systems such as Security and Life Safety, Access Control, Video Surveillance, and systems integration using some of the most cutting-edge technology available today.
The prospective candidate will be responsible for the entire sales process including generating and following up on sales leads, meeting with potential clients and conducting a needs assessment, quoting/bidding systems to meet those needs, negotiating terms, closing sales opportunities, and ensuring profitable growth of the company in an enthusiastic and timely manner.

What you bring to us:
- Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience with commercial security sales experience a must.
- Understanding of key products including, CCTV, Access Control, Security, and Fire Systems
- Experience in the bidding/negotiating process preferred
- Ability to read diagrams, blueprints, and specifications
- Proven team management background with emphasis on market strategies and growth.
- Demonstrated knowledge of solutions / consultative selling skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Ability to work well with internal and external employees.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Resourcefulness.
- Valid drivers’ license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug and background screenings
Essential Duties:
- Sell and promote intrusion, video surveillance, and access control systems to potential clients
- Generate leads via company website, referral, and cold calling
- Develop & maintain an active pipeline that will support achieving the designated sales plan
- Prepare, follow-up and close client proposals
- Respond to customer needs in an enthusiastic and timely manner
- Assume account management responsibilities including the provision and/or coordination of services (installation, customer training, etc.) to assure complete customer satisfaction
- Work with Operations to ensure the timely completion of each job sold
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
