Job Description: Sales Representative of coolCare

coolCare was founded in Texas in 2013 with a goal to deliver a better way to warranty to contractors and homeowners. coolCare continues to partner with contractors who deliver higher standards of installation, service, and equipment repairs to their customers. coolCare is an extended labor protection plan for air conditioning and heating equipment for homeowners and commercial businesses. coolCare offers labor plans from 2 years to 12 years from the date of installation.


The Sales Representative reports directly to the Sales Manager and is responsible for sales and business development for a specific territory or sales channel of the coolCare organization. The Sales Representative is responsible for expanding coolCare’s business within a specified territory and is required to be growth-oriented and dynamic to keep up with the pace of the fast-paced market and establish coolCare as the market leader in the industry. Furthermore, he or she is responsible for developing the business and execute the sales plan to build a strong business network for new business as well as growing existing customer relationships.


To perform these duties, the perfect candidate must have background experience in sales, account management and business development. Experience in the warranty and / or HVAC industry is preferred but not required. The individual should be a problem-solver and be self- motivated and capable of assuming full sales and business development responsibilities on behalf of coolCare.


Responsibilities:

  • Effective account management for continued growth
  • Be positive and collaborative within a team
  • Establish and grow sales and profitability with key accounts – define account plans
  • Facilitate training programs for new customers
  • Identify new market opportunities and bring on new business


Qualifications:

  • College degree is preferred
  • Preferrable experience in the residential and commercial HVAC industry and or warranty industry
  • Work experience in Sales and Business Development
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Relationship building skills
