Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for brand growth and market penetration in their respective territory. They are primarily focused on outbound calls, warm calling, and cold calling.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works with both current and new accounts to grow both sales and awareness.
- Works with store owners, retailers, distributors, store employees, and the consumer to educate and conduct commerce.
- Drives brand growth through assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including retailer support, sales, education, new accounts, account reintroduction, merchandising, and display building.
- Is the face of Koi to our respective retailers and will be responsible to quickly learn and educate themselves on our products in order to give the retailers and the consumers the best experience possible.
- Works daily with the whole inside sales team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills and the ability to build relationships with customers, etc.
Education and Experience:
- Two years of related experience in business, promotional sales, customer service, or related field preferred.
- High School diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Can navigate CRM and other software.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
Compensation:
- $20.00 - $23.00 per hour + commission
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
