POSITION SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Team focuses on customer retention and acquisition. Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for order processing, proactive calling to existing, and potential customers, provide customers with all services offered and provide solutions for their needs. Must be energetic, well spoken, and eager to close and increase sales.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize relationship selling/customer focused selling techniques by working closely with customers to solve their problems, increase their profits and/or increase their productivity.
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely matter.
- Proactive Selling: cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, follow-up, & researching and calling potential prospects with existing product lines.
- Accurately process customer transactions such as orders and quotes.
- Educate customers about terminology, features, and benefits of products – present & deliver information.
- Utilize CRM System effectively. Daily updates include: customer profiles, customer files, add sales notes and “deals.”
- Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any issues
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Inside Sales or similar sales related experience preferred.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Comfortable making proactive calls and talking with existing and potential new customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with customers.
- Persuasive, self-motivated, self-directed and goal -oriented
- Demonstrates understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning skills
- Demonstrated independent work initiative, sound judgement, and a professional demeanor.
- Possesses outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints as well as work instructions and procedures.
- Possesses a high level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.
- Strong computer skills - MS Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Able to perform business math (basic algebra, compute rate, ratio, etc.)
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
- Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
