Position Overview: Craters and Freighters Phoenix is in search of a committed and proactive Outside Sales Representative who can contribute to our team on a long-term basis. We are looking for someone who is dynamic and focused on achieving results. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting our specialized shipping services to businesses and individuals in the Phoenix metropolitan area and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients while continuously seeking opportunities to expand our customer base. Understand client needs, concerns, and preferences to provide tailored solutions and exceptional service.
  • Consultative Selling: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert advice on packaging, crating, and shipping solutions to meet their specific requirements. Present Craters and Freighters’ value proposition effectively to prospects, emphasizing our expertise, reliability, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Proposal Development and Presentation: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals that highlight the benefits of Craters and Freighters’ services. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and pricing strategies to meet client needs.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales process from lead generation to closure, ensuring timely follow-up, accurate documentation, and proactive communication with prospects and clients. Utilize CRM software to track and prioritize sales activities, monitor performance metrics, and forecast sales projections.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors’ offerings to identify opportunities for differentiation and continuous improvement. Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive threats.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, with a minimum of [X] years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the transportation, logistics, or related industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Pay: $47,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
