A world-renowned diagnostic tool company headquartered in Ontario, CA, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales/Business Development Manager to join our team. With over 25 years of industry leadership, we are the premier solution provider serving the automotive tool industry, offering a comprehensive product line ranging from DIY tools to advanced Pro scanners.

As the Sales/Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales force, focusing on both account retention and the successful introduction of new products and services. We are seeking a candidate with extensive professional B2B experience who can develop and execute effective business strategies to maximize sales opportunities and contribute to the overall growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and Nurture Client Relationships:
  • Generate leads and establish long-term relationships with executive decision makers.
  • Maintain and expand existing client base through proactive engagement and outstanding customer service.
  • Sales and Marketing Leadership:
  • Direct and coordinate sales activities, including the promotion and marketing of products and services.
  • Develop comprehensive field sales action plans and implement them effectively.
  • Cultivate a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Collaborate with the creative team to coordinate marketing initiatives, supporting advertising and promotional efforts.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to drive sales growth and optimize revenue potential.
  • Manage key customer relationships, providing guidance and support to execute and close strategic opportunities.
  • Travel and Market Engagement:
  • Travel as required, including client visits, domestic and international market exploration, and participation in trade shows.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Exceptional management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in digital literacy and technical sales skills.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience within the automotive industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated formal presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels, both within the organization and externally.
  • Possess a strong business acumen, industry expertise, and excellent negotiating skills.
