We are looking for a Product Engineering Assistant to support our Business Development team in the development and optimization of our products. Summary
We are seeking a 3rd or 4th year post-secondary Engineering student to join our team for a 4-month co-op term. The successful candidate will work closely with other team members in providing support with research, article writing, content development and event coordination while applying engineering principles.
Work Term: Full-time, Temporary, 4-month contract, Spring 2025 (Jan. 2025 - April. 2025)
Work Arrangements: On-site, 5400 Minoru Blvd. Richmond, BC. Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm. Possible off-site work during special events.
Responsibilities
● Crafting well researched and engaging articles on topics related to the company’s competitor analysis and emerging technologies
● Assisting in planning, organizing, and executing company events, including media outreach and influencer management
● Collaborating with the marketing team to develop social media content, blog posts, and press releases
● Gathering data for reports, tracking project progress, and providing insights to support decision-making
● Managing logistics, schedules, and communications for internal and external company initiatives
● Working with different departments to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and projects
Qualifications
● 3rd or 4th year student pursuing their Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering at a Canadian recognized post-secondary school
●Must be able to work collaboratively with other team members
● Independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills
● Excellent technical communication skills, both written and verbal
● Willing to learn new technologies and apply general engineering principles while making recommendations
