Location: Miramar, Florida

TITLE: Business Development Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s manufacturing services. Responsible for contacting and securing new business accounts/customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience in the Food Supplement market.
  • Bi-lingual - English/Spanish Highly Preferred.
  • Must have BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • Must have relationships with key decision makers at some target customers.
  • Relationships may be with customer decision makers in related segments.
  • Must be able to fully understand, effectively articulate a project plan, and work with associates.
  • Positions demonstrating an ability to develop and grow new business.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Chiefly responsible for developing and building new business working with large on-line and bricks & mortar retailers.
  • Develop a plan that clearly identifies the customer requirements including but not limited to: Product needs, volumes, forecast and replenishment methods, packaging requirements, payment and communication methods.
  • Work with the company R&D department to develop products for the customers. Products may be line extension and/or replacement to existing products.
  • Analyzes the potential and feasibility and prioritizes the path to penetrate this new segment.
  • Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
  • Provides oral and written content to relevant personnel to effectively and profitably develop and grow the channel.
  • Follows and ensures personnel complies with established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP’s), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, direct or assigned.
OTHER INFORMATION:
  • Travel required.
  • Demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers.
  • Results-Orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC DEVICES & SOFTWARE:
  • Proficient with MS Office Suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Demonstrated project management.
