Responsibilities
- As Product Knowledge, you are responsible for selling to new Master’s Building Products Clients, servicing current customer accounts, and assuring profitability of each assigned account
- Working in a well-maintained showroom environment, Product Knowledge
- will be expected to generate leads, develop, meet with Customers who visit the showroom, maintain relationships with current and previous accounts, and provide excellent support to Masters Building Products Customers
- Manage accounts to maintain current service revenue streams and generate new revenues from the sale of MBP products
- Responsible for all aspects of client relationships and sales cycle including sales to new and existing clients, price negotiation, pipeline management
- Must be able to prospect, qualify, and close multiple opportunities in parallel, while maintaining ongoing business partner relationships
- Generate leads through cold calling and referrals * Identify and qualify potential clients by telephone and premise visits * Resolve customer complaints and inquiries
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc
- Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully apply them in daily activities
- Contacting prospects to set up showroom visits and establishing rapport
- Conducting showroom tours for new Prospects and walk-in visitors
- Maintaining a level of professional knowledge about interior building materials to better sell to and service our customers
- Making product quotes, processing orders, and confirming material arrival and delivery with Customers
- Assisting with showroom promotions and events
- Re-establishing communication with former accounts who have not recently purchased Master’s Building Products
- Following up with Accounts regarding orders and quotes
Qualifications
- Our most successful Product Knowledges have come from a wide variety of backgrounds, but all have approached this position aggressively and have been willing to put in hard work to build their account base

- Good negotiation skills * Excellent presentation
- At list 2 years knowledge in the construction or building material industry
- Ability to write effective business correspondence
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate numerical data, as well as calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
- Knowledge of NetSuite MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and general internet software
- Must be bilingual

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $69,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
