Job Summary


The Inside Sales Rep is responsible for the inbound sales for CROFT’s products and services. Individuals must be able to support new and existing customers over the phone articulately and may conduct field visits as necessary. This position requires individual to continuously learn standard concepts, practices, and procedures within processing equipment in oil and gas industry. The Inside Sales Rep performs a variety of tasks in inbound sales. The position requires a certain degree of general marketing knowledge to meet sale expectations.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities


Client Relations:


  • Answer and route all incoming calls.
  • Manage new and existing accounts; varying in size.
  • Act as liaison and single point of contact for general inquiries to CROFT.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers.
  • Close sales by building an effective rapport with customers; expand product and service capabilities; overcome objections; prepare contracts.
  • Call prospective customers and establish buying cycles to fulfill customer needs; create a customer supplier relationship.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate and ensure business outcomes.
  • Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments/meetings.
  • Grasp customer’s needs and process requests through CROFT’s distribution channels. (May require putting together effective and strategic presentations to present to customers).
  • Continued education on new products and services; report any general information of interest of customers.
  • Identify prospects/leads; generates sales, while ensuring business segment growth and service maintaining the targeted retention rate and sales goals.
  • Open service tickets; communicate service needs through CROFT’s distribution channel.
  • Follow-up and close service tickets upon meeting customers' needs.
  • Actively involved in sales training programs. (Webinars, conferences, training programs, etc.)
  • Act as a resource to clients in contract opportunities and proposals.


Account Management


  • Assist in the plan of sales exhibits.
  • Actively involved in marketing training programs. (Webinars, conferences, training programs, etc.)
  • Learn to identify and execute new business opportunities resulting with increase sales and revenue to meet sales goals.
  • Prepare sales information for customers. (Includes scheduling conference calls, pickup, delivery, etc.).
  • Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment.
  • Respond to client requests and questions in a professional and knowledgeable manner; multi-task and remain detailed and organized; Must be able to resolve internal/external customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ability to negotiate/renegotiate contracts, closing the sale, and developing marketing plans for contract accounts.
  • Perform job in a safe manner and ensure a safe workplace to include reporting unsafe work conditions and safety violations. Must be able to consistently take and pass all safety and sales training programs.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policy and/or but not limited to federal, state, and local laws; plus follow any regulations related to job functions.


Education and Experience


Education:


  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing; Experience can be substituted for degree on a 1:1 basis.

License/Certification:


  • None

Experience:


  • Able to work both in a team and independent environment.
  • Two years in customer service and/or public speaking role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, plus able to use/learn to use other in-house technology.
  • Maintain confidentially of company/client information.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach for generating new ideas with the principles of continuous growth and improvement.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License as required to drive on company business.
  • At least two years of field sales experience in the inbound sales industry related preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of principles and processes for marketing, sales and business development is preferred.
