Role Description:

Develop and maintain integrations f or Smart Building IoT platf orm as well as existing buildingmanagement solutions.
Integrating with applications such as Fault Detection Diagnostics, Indoor Air Quality, PeopleCounting, Occupancy Analytics and smart Building IoT Platf orm.
Work collaboratively with the Security Architecture/Design teams apply appropriate controls f orintegrations and APIsClosely working with vendors to understand APIs and integration interf aces.
Collaborate closely with internal and external key stakeholders and SMEs to def ine best practicesand standards/guidelines on integration protocols , encryption standard s, authentication methodsas well as security parameters.
Work with the Solution Architect, Systems Analyst and Business Analyst to def ine integrationsand contribute to the overall solutions.Optimize and document the technical aspects of various solutions associated with the SmartBuildings/IoT/OT space.
Collaborate with Risk Management to ensure necessary controls to Vendor or in house-builtapplications/solutions.
Troubleshooting problems, resolving root cause, and where possible, f ixing the bug(s)

Essential Skills:

5 years of work experience in the Integration developer f field
Experience with application development e.g., Java, Python, scripting or SOAP/REST
Experience in Service Oriented ArchitectureKnowledge of integration concepts and patterns e.g. XML Schemas, SOAP, WS specif ications
Understanding of object-oriented languages and paradigms e.g. OOAD, design patternsExcellent problem-solving skills.
Experience with Integration, API management/Gateway and microservices patterns
Good interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent understanding of application architecture
Excellent Knowledge of Corporate Workplace Technology space
Strong understanding of version control systems e.g.GIT
Understanding of the DevOps processes and practices
