We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Representative to join our team and help bring these transformative technologies to customers’ homes and businesses.
Job Description:
As a Sales Representative at Tether House, you will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with clients, and promoting our comprehensive portfolio of smart home and automation products. You will work directly with customers to understand their needs, offer tailored solutions, and drive the sales process from initial inquiry to installation. You will be the face of the company, ensuring an exceptional customer experience that positions Tether House as the go-to provider for smart home technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Generate Leads: Proactively seek new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals. Attend trade shows, industry events, and other marketing initiatives to expand the company’s presence.
- Consultative Sales: Meet with clients to assess their needs for smart home integration, offering personalized recommendations for video, sound, lighting, security, and comfort control solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in home automation, smart technologies, and our product offerings to effectively communicate their value to customers.
- Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Provide engaging presentations and demos, showcasing how our solutions improve convenience, comfort, and energy efficiency in homes and businesses.
- Quote Creation & Negotiation: Prepare and present detailed quotes, ensuring they are accurate and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Negotiate terms and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Offer post-sales support, resolve any issues, and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the project management and installation teams to ensure smooth transition from sale to installation, and support clients through the entire process.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales goals through proactive prospecting, effective closing strategies, and excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in technology, home automation, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of smart home technologies, including video systems, lighting, security, and comfort control solutions.
- Working knowledge with Control4 operating system and platform.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable with CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly evolving industry.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
