Avita Clinical Research, a family-run and rapidly growing clinical research organization with multiple locations, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving our success by securing new clinical trial opportunities and nurturing relationships with sponsors, Contract Research Organizations (CROs), brokers, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and secure new clinical trial opportunities to replenish and expand our clinical trial pipeline across all locations.
- Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, CROs, brokers, MSLs, and other stakeholders in the clinical research field.
- Conference Representation: Represent Avita Clinical Research at industry conferences, meetings, and networking events to generate leads and build partnerships.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to align business development strategies with organizational goals and market trends.
- Pipeline Oversight: Monitor the clinical trial pipeline to ensure continuity and growth, proactively identifying gaps and opportunities.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities to position Avita as a preferred clinical research partner.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in business development within the clinical research industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of clinical trial processes, sponsor requirements, and CRO operations.
- Network: Established relationships with sponsors, CROs, and MSLs are a significant advantage.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively pitch and negotiate.
- Proactive: Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to conferences, client meetings, and other business development events as needed.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, life sciences, or a related field is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,669.00 - $75,547.00 per year
