About the Position:
EMI is seeking an experienced sales and client services professional to work hand in hand with both our business development and delivery teams to ensure operational success across multiple global research projects for large and multinational clients.
As a Client Success Executive (CSE), you will have a direct impact on company annual revenue and growth. A CSE has a high attention to detail and is motivated by developing client relationships with a customer service orientation to ensure the highest level of satisfaction. This position works closely with the Research Management team, the Sales team, and other CSEs in an environment that fosters teamwork and integrity. Working within a team is of utmost importance in this role to ensure seamless execution of processes and procedures.
Position Location: Corporate HQ – 8280 Montgomery Rd. Suite 200, Cincinnati, OH 45236
This role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to effectively take part in pre-bid consultation collaboratively with Account Executive
- Ability to create client proposals/quotations based on individual needs with a maintained focus on profitability and margin aligned with company standards
- Aids in managing overall project profitability and margin
- Creating efficient and effective sample plans and pricing structure for clients
- Takes the lead on statement of work documents and approvals with client at time of project launch to ensure all details are buttoned up.
- Responsible for leading internal communication between Sales and Research Management teams as projects are in field (identifying and addressing concerns prior to and during field time)
- Follows up with clients when necessary, via phone and email (i.e., project kickoff calls, pricing conversations, problem-solving, etc.)
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once and maintain timelines
- Responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships that promote retention and increase customer loyalty by supporting the Account Executive and will be someone the client can contact if they have questions (first point of contact for project escalations/issues and will work to solve any issues that may rise while the project is live)
- Works with client and EMI team to complete all project closure processes (including invoicing)
- Extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of EMI’s value propositions including IntelliBlend, ROR, and Panel Network and can tailor custom presentations to an audience’s need.
Skills Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years industry experience (business, marketing, or finance preferred)
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused, and concise manner
- Focused attention to detail and organization
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
- Ability to solve problems with analytics and critical thinking
- Function well in an open office environment
- High motivation to succeed
- Strong computer skills utilizing Outlook, Excel, and other web-based programs
