Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Plans, organizes, directs, controls and evaluates the educational programs for cardiology, including but not limited to: orientation, annual competencies, quality initiatives, ongoing in-servicing, and professional development for licensed and unlicensed staff. Assists in developing programs to meet The Joint Commission standard requirements for education.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Associates Degree in Nursing
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Minimum Work Experience
2 years in Cardiac Cath Lab
Required Licenses/Certifications
Registered Nurse
ACLS
BLS
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Maintain professional appearance at all times.
Input data into computer programs.
Knowledge of Nursing process and standards of care.
Ability to work with therapeutic equipment.
