BBI is looking for competitive, confident, and passionate individuals to join our growing team. As a Bilingual Account Executive, you will focus on the fast-paced brokerage aspect of our business. You will be responsible for growing our customer base in MX and in the US.
What you’ll be doing.
- Energize your creativity to identify and self-generate new leads within the drayage market. Seek out potential clients and establish initial contact. Be able to convert warm leads into a sale.
- Initiate sales calls and develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders including shipping lines, logistics providers, freight forwarders, and port authorities
- Utilize your exceptional negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial agreements with clients, carriers, and suppliers
- Stay on the cutting edge of industry trends, keeping a finger on the pulse of the drayage landscape to capitalize on emerging opportunities
- Collaborate with team mates to ensure smooth and efficient drayage operations
What you’ll bring to the table.
- 1-3 years of professional sales experience, logistics preferred - not required
- Full bilingual professional proficiency in English and Spanish
- Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling prospects and making a sale
- You are a master at closing the deal
- Willing to go the extra mile to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Entrepreneurial and competitive spirit (if you’re not first, you’re last)
- Strong ability to sell and negotiate with confidence and a winning attitude
- Maintain composure in high-stress scenarios
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to recognize and prioritize profitable opportunities
