**Job Description: Mortgage Business Development Representative**

**Position Overview:**

The Van Patten Group is seeking an assertive and motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. This role is essential in expanding our market reach by building and nurturing relationships with realtors and other referral partners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong phone presence, an aggressive approach to sales, and excellent long-term follow-up skills.

**Responsibilities:**

- **Proactive Outreach:** Aggressively pursue new realtor relationships through consistent phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings, ensuring regular engagement with prospective partners.

- **Relationship Development:** Build and maintain meaningful, long-term partnerships with realtors and real estate professionals to promote The Van Patten Group’s services.

- **Lead Generation:** Identify, target, and solicit new referral opportunities from realtors and other industry professionals.

- **Follow-Up and Retention:** Execute thorough follow-up strategies to keep partners engaged and informed, with a focus on fostering long-term business relationships.

- **Pipeline Management:** Track and manage referral partner interactions and opportunities within the CRM, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate reporting.

- **Market Analysis:** Stay informed of local market trends, competitor offerings, and potential growth opportunities, positioning Van Patten Mortgage Group as a top choice for real estate financing needs.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with the sales and loan officer teams to ensure consistent messaging and streamlined service for referred clients.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar client-facing role, preferably within the mortgage or real estate industries.

- Strong communication skills with a compelling phone presence.

- High level of initiative and self-motivation to build a robust network of realtor partners.

- Demonstrated ability to develop long-term relationships with a strategic and solutions-oriented approach.

- Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of effective follow-up and customer retention.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Real Estate related: 1 year (Required)
  • Sales and Relationship management: 1 year (Required)
