Job Title: Business Development Manager

Working Schedule - Full Time, Permanent

Pay: Base Salary + Commission

Summary of Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for the Louisville, KY area to drive sales and expand our client portfolio in the Human Resources space.

Primary Responsibilities

The day-to-day role involves telling our story, pitching our services, recognizing business opportunities, and maintaining strong relations and partnerships. The Business Development Manager is sales focused and will work closely with our Leadership Team, complimenting one another’s efforts to hit sales targets, build strategic relationships, improve the sales process, and land new clients.

Reporting to the CEO, the BDM will be expected to be a self-driven individual with a passion for selling and growing our business. We are looking for a candidate with an existing network in the Louisville Metro area with strong organizational skills.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Identify and research potential clients
  • Track, identify and add qualified prospects to pipeline
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
  • Track and report on the status of proposal components
  • Conduct ongoing market research

Qualifications/Experience

  • 3+ years of business development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated track record in lead generation and prospecting
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong desire to “win” business and establish long-term client relationships
  • Confident, energetic, “hunter” mentality
  • Highly adaptable, authentic and independent

Work Conditions:

  • Estimated travel is up to 50-75%, locally in Louisville and surrounding suburbs
  • Base pay commensurate with experience + Commission Pay

Pay: $34,455.13 - $105,298.26 per year
