Automotive Maintenance Equipment Sales Representative

Job Description

SmartSafe Tech USA, headquartered in Ontario, CA, designs, manufacturers, and distributes automotive maintenance equipment such as Mobile AC Recharge/Recovery Machines, Wheel Alignment, ADAS calibration and vehicle diagnostic scan tools for the aftermarket automotive service industry.

We are seeking a high performing, self-driven, and an experienced sales minded professional to join our team in the role of Sales Representative.

The candidate in this position will be responsible for:

• Developing new channels of distribution and growth within our current markets for our full line of automotive maintenance and diagnostic solutions
• Serve as the point of contact maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships
• Hold training workshops for distributors and retailers
• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans necessary to achieve business growth
• Attend and present at key promotional events and trade shows such as APEX and SEMA
• Performs other duties and participates in special projects as needed

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelors degree in Business/Marketing or a minimum of three (3) years of sales experience in automotive maintenance equipment aftermarket sales
• Experience in the automotive service and repair industry and be knowledgeable of market trends and emerging technological challenges facing automotive repair shop owners
• Excellent organizational, presentation as well as effective and persuasive verbal and written communication skills are a must
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret sales data, results, and determine effective adjustments as necessary to attain the desired level of performance
• Ability to work in a team environment and be flexible and self-motivated
• Ability to demonstrate products in a one-on-one and group setting
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Excellent PC skills, particularly MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as CRMs
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be able to travel as necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• automotive aftermarket: 3 years (Required)
• Automotive Maintenance Equipment Sales: 3 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Required)
