- Account Executive
Baby Trend is a manufacturer of consumer related baby products and is located in Ontario, CA. Our products are sold at nationwide retail locations and juvenile specialty stores. Our slogan is convenience through innovation and thoughtful design. We are actively searching for a competent Account Executive. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining relationships with clients, managing existing accounts, qualify potential new customers by marketing and selling company products, driving new business, and building a profitable territory.
The goal is to find opportunities and turn them in long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction.
Job Descriptions & Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day operations for assigned accounts:
- Order receipt, maintenance, inventory allocation, and invoice submission in company ERP
- Interface with multiple departments including IT, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Shipping to ensure account health and success
- Provide sales dollars and inventory forecast updates to management on a weekly basis for assigned accounts, with ability to explain increases and decreases accordingly
- Ability to work in assigned customer portals and systems
- Compile info for and fill out new item set up sheets as needed
- Effectively communicate with customers on status of orders and business in general
- Be able to contribute to company discussions on maximizing business with assigned accounts with ideas and recommendations
- MS Office Application knowledge including Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint. Netsuite and Salsify experience a plus. Understanding of general EDI process a plus.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS or BA in business administration, sales, marketing or relevant field OR 1-3 years of experience in consumer products sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
- Occasional Travel is required
- Able to achieve balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Professional, innovative, and can work independently
- Able to meet company sales goals
This is a full-time on site position. Salary and level will be DOE.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
