Storj is looking for an experienced quota-carrying sales executive with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas, who has experience and relationships in the Media & Entertainment sector and is based in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate has experience navigating enterprise and complex buying coalitions. This candidate is very familiar working with and leveraging an extended team and “selling coalition” as Storj makes its surge into the enterprise market. The ideal candidate has experience selling cloud storage-as-a-service, compute, or storage software solutions. We are looking for the consummate professional who has integrity and is hardworking and honest. This is critical as the sales team contributes to the overall Storj culture of winning and succeeding.
Note: This position is fully remote, requires someone who lives in Los Angeles, and does not require relocation or visa sponsorship. We are currently unable to sponsor work visas. Additionally, the team you will be joining is globally distributed, with members located in North America and Europe. Therefore, this position necessitates flexibility regarding working hours.
Responsibilities
- Meet and/or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Work with partners for creating solutions for customers.
- Manage complex and highly competitive large deals (6 or 7 figures).
- Contribute to Storj’s culture of excellence, positivity, and respect for all team members.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience and a track record of meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual quotas.
- Have a network of contacts in the Media & Entertainment sector that can be added to our target list of prospective customers.
- Have a working knowledge of both on prem as well as cloud storage services, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud offerings.
- Be willing to travel as needed.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Salary Range
- Base salary $158,000-$176,000 USD depending on geo adjust/location in the U.S.
- On Target Earnings - 50/50 sales incentive compensation split).
